My passion for intercultural communication led me to travel a lot, to develop a strong adaptability and to train critical thinking. My commitment for human rights and sustainability resulted in social studies and in the deepening of topics like alternative economies and community building. In my lifetime I explored various art forms, like writing, music, photography and theatre, with a particular attention to their social function. Beside various jobs in the sphere of education, I tried other professions as for example bartender, translator and customer support. Altogether, this has made me a conscious, creative and versatile person, full of interests and resources.

For 6 years I have taught privately, in language schools and at the Faculty of Economics and Aministration of Masaryk University, to individuals and groups of different nationality, age and level, as well as to a 8-years-old student with Asperger syndrome.

Tutor to people with special needs

In different situations I have been a tutor to people with disability.

In particular, as an employee at Ca' Foscari University I have supported students with motor, visual or communication disorders in the management of their school day, as for example moving from a place to another and retrieving notes, or preparing didactic materials and other office functions.

Translating and interpreting

Since 2010 I have worked with different types of clients and companies.

as a campaign leader, a founder and a manager of collectives, as a tutor to international students, a farmer and simply as an activist.

For years I volunteered for

HUMAN RIGHTS

as a coordinator of groups and activities, participating to regional and national meetings of Amnesty International, helping refugees and supporting the Palestinian people, and recovering abandoned places for cultural use

INTERCULTURALITY

as a tutor for students and a coordinator of activities, as well as raising awareness in schools and supporting immigrated women

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

promoting the use of the bike, retrieving and redistributing leftovers from restaurants, leading informational campaigns and participating to international meetings and activities, as well as founding a group of Transition town in Brno

ORGANIC FARMING

on the lands of family-owned farms cultivated by the principles of permaculture, biodynamics and other methods

"Conflict: crisis or opportunity?" exploring the tools of the Theatre of the oppressed, Gestalt psychology and non-violent communication

I am currently co-working with ActionAid Italy for an inclusive and fair transition, teaching about environmental activism practices, participative tools, and the facilitation of public climate assemblies.

In fact, I previously worked full-time as a coordinator of activists and as a networking manager.

In the Committee supporting the climate movement Ultima Generazione, at a national level, I helped people organize and facilitate assemblies with concrete outcomes, and gather information and skills around citizens' and climate assemblies. At the same time I held contact with many associations and movements, working together on social media content, on the building of common narratives and on their promotion through public speeches.

I have also worked before as a facilitator of the participative budget processes in Sicily, especially in Paternò, Catania, where I was volunteering on the land of permacultural farms. I am now learning in Denmark about ecological farming, community life and social change.

In two years (2022-2024) I alongside completed 3 out of 3 Masterclasses to become a Professional Facilitator, and I'm now a member of the only national Register of Facilitators in Italy.

I attended more facilitation and mediation courses and with privates as people who graduated at the facilitation schools "La prossima cultura" and "Process Work Italia", as well as at the Center for Non-Violent Communication. I'm part of the "Moving Mindsets" community. I practice graphic facilitation.
